On the 6th September, our Support Director, Keith Cleverley, will take on the NUTS challenge to raise money for the very worthwhile charity, “Hop, skip & jump“.
The course is approximately 14km long with 200 obstacles, originally designed by personnel from the British Special Forces to push the individual to the limit.
Keith is hoping to raise at least £200.00 (£1 per obstacle) but if we hit £300.00, he will also have his legs waxed for the event, those wish to inflict this pain can do so at £2.00 per strip
Its fabulous news that IMEX have chosen Hop Skip and Jump as their sponsored charity, everyone is absolutely over the moon. It will enable us to give flexible and immediate respite day/evening care to children with life limiting illnesses and any special need, however complex.” said Clarissa Mitchell, founder trustee
We have a sponsorship page, please help us reach our target by donating at our Virgin team donation site and make the pain and insanity worth it while supporting a very worthy cause.
Hop Skip and Jump provide flexible and immediate respite care for children and young adults in the South West. HS&J have three centres (Bristol, Cheltenham and Swindon) open seven days a week, providing a variety of indoor and outdoor activities to engage and inspire children with disabilities and special educational needs. We help families who have reached breaking point, preventing children being taken into care and providing them with a sense of space.
