IMEX have once again renewed its support for local charity – The Prospect Hospice.
IMEX first got involved in 2009 following an employee’s personal link with the charity. Initially IMEX planned to rais funds through sponsorship events, but quickly realised that it could bring some real practical support for Prospect's IT manager and ensure a strengthened IT offering for the Hospice.
This is now the third year in which IMEX has provided free IT support and consultancy, offering invaluable advice and help with various aspects of their IT Systems alongside the on-going fund raising efforts of the employees at IMEX.
Prospect Hospice provides dedicated end-of-life care, given freely on the basis of need, to patients in the community of Swindon and north Wiltshire. The charity provides its care at the Hospice in Wroughton, in patients’ homes, and also in Swindon’s Great Western Hospital, and also provides supportive care for patients’ families.
Last year more than 1600 patients were referred to the care of Prospect Hospice.
